Jason Samia’s passion for humanitarian work led him to join Within Arms Reach in August 2010, where he currently serves as a Development Director. As a Development Director, and a former Board of Director, Jason works closely with and reports to the CEO in order to ensure the organization’s goals are met. He is also involved in developing business plans and overseeing the financial growth of the organization by implementing strategic plans to raise vital funds in a cost-effective manner. He brings his business expertise by cultivating and strengthening business relationship with partner organizations and collaborating joint efforts with them. Jason also helps to fulfill public relations as well as to motivate and satisfy donors, board members, staff, and the press.

Jason’s background includes an extensive experience in Sales and Marketing. Samia received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Immediately upon graduation, he moved to the Bay Area (Silicon Valley) where he worked for one of the Fortune 500 companies. He stayed with Sun Microsystems as a Computer Engineer for five years until he decided to venture into Sales and Marketing. He is currently a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and has his license with Keller Williams Realty.

Christie first joined Within Arms Reach in May 2010 as a Board Of Director. She now manages the organization’s projects, and coordinates a range of program activities as a Program Manager.

Christie’s background includes experience in Architecture, Design, and Photography. She received her Bachelor of Art degree in Interior Architecture from California State University, Long Beach. While in school Christie began working in the Architecture and Design field in 2005 where she worked for Jam N’Shel Designs as a Junior Designer for two years. In 2007 Christie decided to explore more opportunities in the Architecture and Design field and began working for IA Interior Architects where she still currently works. Christie also has 10 years of work experience in the printing industry in both production and graphic design. With this experience Christie formed her own company Chi Bella Designs where she offers custom graphic design and photography.
