Yesterday, November 8th, 2014 was the one year anniversary of Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda.

On November 8th, 2013, Typhoon Haiyan struck the Philippines, leaving 4 million displaced, 8 thousand missing or dead, and tens of thousands without shelter.

Let us remember that when disasters strike, we must ensure that we continue to serve those in need even when media attention is turned elsewhere. Rebuilding an entire country does not take merely months, but years, and possibly even decades.
